RETRACTABLE LANDING GEAR.mp4

A 3D concept model of a retractable landing gear for a light aircraft. The system uses an electric actuator on each leg, with a free-fall system and up-locks.
The system was developed by Creative CAD using Autodesk Inventor 2010 and is being built into a light aircraft.

Looks exactly like hawker hurricane undercarriage mechanism, probably also hawker typhoon, tempest, fury etc.

Hi , it is possible to see some desing patern for it or this pure your idea? I am looking for some solution in my RC seaplane . I have a retractable floats but unfortunately i was not happy with it now i want to desing new one . My criteria simply as possible. I was incorporate standard landing gear but not very good solution ."Dornier DO 26 release of floats "

Cool animation, but I don't see how the uplock works...

The over-center downlock with secondary latch is clear. I'm struggling to see where the uplock is?

In the first part of the animation the actuator is fixed, in the last frames it is moving. Why and how?

Because the mounting point of the actuator is sliding outboard on a rail having been emergency released.
