Nissan delivers a retro version of the Frontier called the Hardbody. This Hardbody edition is added to the SV trim so it comes well equipped and rivals the top end PRO-4X for price with some add ons. This Frontier still offers a traditional feeling small pickup with some modern amenities to go with it.

The Hard Body looks like a nice truck. I was looking at Nissan's a while back but happened to luck out and got a great deal on a 2022 Tacoma SR5 V6, and I love it. That's what's cool about the Nissan Hard Body SV is it's V6 engine. The price is as good as it's gonna get. It's still a better price than 80K to 100K or more like some other full size trucks (GMC, Ford, Chevy, Ram). I would buy a Nissan Frontier it's perfect for most people, but I only have 10K miles on my Tacoma now. ✌🏼❤💋

Great review 👍 I still have the 86 hardbody king cab 4x4 my father bought the same year as I joined the family and I love it. I’m not a fan that the V6 is not a Nissan engine it’s a Mercedes motor but at least it’s naturally aspirated and not turbo charged

When the Hardbody edition was first discussed I saw the MSRP was expected to be around 38-42K which would have been ok but at 46K and to have a tilt only steering wheel and halogen only front end is just bad. For the money I would just take a Pro 4X.

What I really shocked about the Frontier hardbody below the center dash. It does have a heated steering wheel which is a pretty awesome feature. Also the driver assistance is actually a technology that uses to make motor vehicle travel safer by automating, improving, and adapting.

Nice basic truck. Bad things: Steering is TOO HEAVY. Suspension is TOO FIRM.
