Yes, if you have a V2 Sega Genesis adapter like the one that comes with the big six controller, you can use the controllers interchangeably on Saturn and Sega Genesis. And that should remain viable on Dreamcast as well when they drop the receiver for it.

Yea -_-; I didn't realize it until it was uploaded. Apparently phone camera recordings need to be converted or else you get variable frame rate that looks like trash.

I’ve been using it to play Monster Hunter Generations on Switch. I totally agree on the sticks being a bit small BUT, I’ve gotten used to them quickly. This is my favorite controller and I’m so stoked to finally have it. It’s the holy grail for me. I wish they would make it in the gray with the blue buttons.

I do remember getting used to it and feeling better about it when I played with it on my second day with Smash Ultimate. I will give it a few more tries and maybe make a follow-up video, but only if my opinion changes. Thank you for the insightful comment.

How did you get the controller to connect to your switch I have trouble pairing !?

@@desieltv163 I had trouble at first too. Make sure you go into the settings on your Switch and enable Wired Pro Controller Communication. That fixed it for me.

@@desieltv163 sorry I didn’t respond sooner. Honestly, just followed the instructions. Held the button on the receiver until it blinked fast, then pressed start twice, quickly, and voila, the Switch sees it.

It looks like I need to do a better job of how I render things. It looked fine when I played it back from my raw recordings on my phone, but I guess I didn't match the framerate like I should have.

I tested it on Street Fighter 6. Works great on ps5 with Brook however I experience few second drops.

Just curious, were you able to use all of the buttons on the controller? I heard there were issues with the shoulder buttons being mapped to the wrong buttons on PC, does that issue happen for ps5 as well with Street Fighter 6?@@getterpaolo2473

I pressed Start button + reset button before, which resulted in the controller being unable to pair now, and the reset button is ineffective.

Did you try resetting the controller as the manual explains to you how to about it. I can't remember off the top of my head.

Is the controller supposed to be limited to the A and B face buttons on Switch? It seems X and Y do absolutely nothing when I pair my controller to the switch. Maybe the firmware needs to be reinstalled?

Perhaps yes. I would try reinstalling the firmware. My X and Y buttons work just fine on Switch.

Well if its a bug in sonic jam then its a bug in duke nukem 3d and quake. I tested both games and they drift forward slowly in 3D mode. Also, trigger functionality stops in 3d mode so no strafing....

Oh man, that's very unfortunate. Sounds like I'll have to pull out my official 3D Saturn controller and test those games to see if they drift for me as well. Thank you for the informational comment. I think Retro-bit needs to update the firmware.

@shock44SquirrelyShock I got a reply from retro-bit and they said they are aware of the issue among many problems. They also said there working on a firmware update. Also, I posted on reddit and another user confirm the drift and button mapping problems in 3d mode in duke nukem, quake, and powerslave. I guess fps games are configured similarly on saturn thus causing the same mapping and drift issue. I have a real 3d pad as well and those games work flawlessly in 3d mode with triggers for strafe.

​@@shleevesupposedly firmware update 1.1 fixes the "upward" drift for those FPS type games and the L+R /ZL+ZR mapping issue for playing Nights

Unfortunately I don't have one of those brook converters and I don't own a PS5 so I cannot confirm that, sorry.

No. It is a 2.4 GHz connection. You can connect it to PC via USB, but this just charges the controller.

Unfortunately, just 2.4 ghz. Maybe they'll release a bluetooth version in the future? They used to sell their regular version of the Saturn controller with bluetooth.
