MBLAQ is a group created by Rain’s company, J. Tune Camp. The company didn’t do well and ended up bankrupt which I believe is one of the main reasons they didn’t do so well even though they are so talented. My 2 favourite songs until today that I’m still streaming from them is “This is War” and “Cry”. Maybe you can check “Cry” out! Thank you for reacting to these boys! And fun fact: Thunder is actually 2NE1’s Dara’s real brother! You can’t unlook the resemblance after you know this fact!

MBLAQ is well known to be Beast rival group and yet both groups are very closed to each other esp leejoon-doojoon & mir-dongwoon. Even their debut day is two days apart (in 2009). At first, public attention are more to mblaq rather than Beast until Beast start gaining more attention during shock and at peak during fiction era (2011). But mblaq still relevent until they disband in 2015. I think one of reason lead to their disband is bcz the crucial member lee joon left the group to focus in his acting career. He's now a recognised actor in korea.

Oh is he? That's cool to hear though, that he made a successful transition in life. I think that's one of the hardest things for idols, to find something afterwards. Especially if their careers are cut short in the idol business. Also thanks so much for telling me more about their history. It's cool to read that both BEAST and MBLAQ were at a high level (at least in Korea it seems) at one point. They're both great.

This is an icon of 2nd gen. I never really followed MBLAQ but I still know this song by name and I've seen this MV before :')
