Nov. 1 is the album drop with the title track @ 1 PM Korean time. The double title track for CLIK CLAK and DRIP is from what YG explained was that the two songs kind of flows into each other. We are supposed to get at least one more M/V from the album but there could be more, I just can't remember which track that was said to have an M/V beside the double title tracks.

Thank you, that means a lot :) -- You're definitely right. Biggest "problem" is that I'm out of touch with the younger generation, because I'm getting older and obviously don't have friends in the younger age range lol. I guess that's just how life goes every generation huh

We all know that YG will embed different outro beats in every song, THAT'S SO OUTDATED! but it's always anticipated 😅

Idk man, I feel like a lot of their outros back in the day (pre-TREASURE debut really) felt very similar. They were all "chanty, wholesome partys". The sound added was usually quite loud and celebratory. Nowadays, their outros can be anything. See TREASURE outros or this one

My Take on this release: Its interesting and I respect that they tried something different in a way. I like the minimalistic production as well as the performances / attitude and the black & white concept for the MV. I also like how they build on the beat until the switch up at the end (best part of the song) leading into the 2nd (real) title track "Drip". Maybe they could have introduced new elements to the beat a bit earlier (the middle part feels a bit repetitive). The lyrics are really bad though (especially for a rap heavy track with minimalistic instrumental). Maybe I just don't get it and they are intentional bad or meant to be playful making fun of these types of "bragging" rap lyrics? Not sure, but I'm also DEFINITELY not the target audience for this song. The girls are amazing as always. Babymonster remains (by far) my favorite 5th gen girl group and the one with the highest level of skills (live singing, performing, vocals, rap) and potential for even further development. At least in my (subjective) opinion. I'm very curious how their album is. Can't wait for tomorrow. EDIT and PS: I like the approach finding something to improve when you love a song. Its the same for me and also true for the opposite. On a song I don't like, I try to find at least something great. Its good life advise in general to stay nuanced and not fall into the extremes of blind "fandom" or "hate".

I agree with that beat switch should've happened earlier, that would've improved the song progression. About the lyrics: Reading some comments under my video made me realize that a lot of the english words are references and slang that I just don't know (anymore, I'm too old now? lol). So I think that's definitely the case; the target audience is a bit younger (prolly late teens) and they made that quite clear and the focus even. I think in terms of live performances, I love KISS OF LIFE a lot these days as well. I don't know how much you've checked them out yet, but I can highly recommend them. They do all kinds of different songs as well but are always insane live (vocally and performance wise too). Thanks for the PS note :) I'm always trying to do that and you're right, it's healthier. But I figured I should explain it because it's maybe something not everyone has thought about yet

@@cru3ltmo yeah... i know Kiss Of Life. Try to watch each new MV from a female K-Pop artist at least once. Liked their pre debut to debut releases (with the connected solo tracks). But for whatever reason didn't connect with their music after debut (at least not as much as with other groups). Because the day only has 24 hours I have to prioritize which groups to focus on for deep dives.
