Well, 4chan's retro board started in 2013, and it allowed everything before dreamcast to be considered retro. A 13 years gap back then. Now it's up until ps2 xbox gc. Now the ps3 is 18 years old almost so it has gone past that. It os retro whether the Retro-rded consider it retro or not.

I'd definitely recommend a game called the adventures of monekey hero on ps1 its an RPG & typically gets a lot of hate due to being a copycat of Zelda but if you can see past that the gameplay & story are super fun & its best feautre is its beautiful soundtrack
