If you want to play the story in chronological order in the Metal Gear Solid series, start the third one and play through Snake Eater. It is the best game in the series in my opinion.

I really loved DKC for the GBC! Also Shantae. There's certainly a few I haven't played that perhaps I should try out.

Metal Gear Solid Gaiden is not canonical to the rest of the Metal Gear storyline. So you can play it without having any other knowledge.

Only as an adult did I come to fall in love with the GBC. As a kid around 11-13 years old circa 1998-2001, I convinced myslelf it was a lame upgrade to the original GB and waited for the GBA.

Kirby's Dream Land 1 is kind of a trash game ngl its hard to go back to I would have put Kirby Pinball in that spot.

I tried picross X but it has some puzzles with multiple solutions and that’s just not fun for me. Also, Mario Land 2 DX is a great hack! In addition to adding colors it uses the faster GBC clock speed to eliminate lag!

The wii was s**t because of all the shovelware. Just think about dogs life, snow white and the 7 naughty boys, mr bean, little britain, ninja bread man... Oh wait. Those are all shovelware titles on the PS2 which I'm assured is one of the best consoles ever. Yet strangely we have to only judge the wii for its worst games not its best. Seriously though, the wii is an absolute gem and one of the last consoles where you buy a disc and get a game without downloading an extra 5gbs of data to make it playable. May it live on fondly in our memories.

im getting the pink one i want to ask you how it feels the dpad cause in the analog pocket i heard bad reviews because the dpad its the only think that it really matters 4 me

Should of just gone with an oled screen. I think with an oled they could of done way better filters than they did with the pocket. Of course i understand why they did what they did but i just am way more used to modern day dispalys!

I would never go the upscaler route. Best is a high-spec SCART CRT with both S-video/RGB Scart, or a golden-age TV (2008-2010) as those have good panels, high contrast, wide-gamut CCFL backlight that ages very well or top of the line fullHD plasma, and the upscalers in there are still designed with 240p/480i consoles in mind with good decombing/deinterlacing. I you want to play on a more modern HDMI-only screen (which I would not want because of bloatware/crapOS/adware either) just kill the entire OS and hookup a Nvidia shield or something, and emulate all systems on that.

Dicing Knight is made by Platinum Dispositif. They have a bunch of cool games on PC also like GundeadliGne, Gundemonium Recollection, Bunny Must Die: Chelsea and the 7Devils, Dandelion: Starchild Journey and my favorite amongst them - Engage to Jabberwock.

You named a bunch of games that I love I just got Kirby one and two I got Bubble Bobble one and two I got Wario Land from Japan actually one two and three DuckTales quite a few games so glad to get my collection back together from when I was a kid now it's so much easier did a full restore on my original Game Boy and I got a (Game Boy Color moded) coming already ready to go so I don't have to use my original when I go places

Loved your game pick ups and enjoyed the limited edition unboxing. Would love to see some of the gameplay for that game. It looks like a great game. I agree with another comment that you are also one of my favorite KZbinrs as your enthusiasm is catching.

I tried to turn it on but showed a single blinking green light and stayed off. I then took the sd cards out and the green light would show but a black screen would show with it. How can I restart it?

I think the shell is incredibly gaudy and ugly looking. Really not a fan of it. The Analogue Pocket is just a much better looking device.

Sorry gonna be judging you for not playing Batman or the Prince of Persia games before (not really of course, I've only beaten Sands of Time and Forgotten Sands myself and dabbled with the other two in that canon. Oh I also beat the 2008 reboot) Sands of Time was such a charming game and hope you enjoy the whole series.

Guessing most of these issues are more down to quality control and/or production tolerances than any kind of redesign. My first batch release Pocket doesn't have the flush side buttons, failing shoulder buttons, nor overly loose cartridge slot. Whether their processes have improved, or you simply got lucky this time, is the question.
