just buy a 100$ optiplex FF and save yourself the headache, mine is hooked up to my TV. gamecube, ps2, switch, etc all run at full speed.

I snagged one up and just finished burning a 512gb image. Wow! What more can a retro gamer ask for. Killer Instinct arcade version FINALLY runs with no overclocking. My Atgames ALU is FINALLY complete with this pi5.

Ive taken the time to try all of Rpi5 images on AP, still enjoy wolfanoz build the most, my experience has been mainly very good, quite a few images had bugs or making adjustments in settings would break stuff. Its still early so i believe patience is necessary until the pi 5 is more optimized

I’ve got this image, just to let you know, none of the Jaguar games work, I think it’s an emulator issue, but it won’t let you select another emulator. In the Vertical Screen Games, no games are displayed in there. Apart from those, everything is great.

Excellent Video 👍 What is the full name make etc ( Samsung , SanDisk , etc ) of the 256gb Sd card you used ? Sometimes cheaper sd cards are smaller and that means some pi images jut will not fit on the sd card. Thanks

When can we get some images that are like 4tb or larger? We can still use hard drives right? If it supports PS2 then how about images that contain ever PS2 games? We need MOAR!

It supports PS2 but it does not play it at full speed, you could run an external drive yes. Way better to just use a PC at that point

you need to get the pi 5 and download the image and then write it to an sd card, plug it in and thats it

The Pi 5 (whilst great for some things) it's sadly not the best solution for RetroGaming anymore. Any RK3588 board & Android installed will get you way better results in my testing. (Also, the X86 Radxa X2L and YouYeeToo X1 if you want affordable SBC and like tinkering or just get a N100/N300 NUC if you just wanna play.)

Agree. People need to stop wasting their time with the underpowered Pis. Mini Pcs are where its at. My Hp G3 runs everything full speed all the way up to a wii u

Hey! Hope you enjoyed the IMG :) Really not sure what's going on with NGC Artwork, My original IMG has the artwork, but then it's burnt it's not populated! It will be fixed in the final IMG if/when it's released from Beta to Stable. Agree with the Wii Games (Wait for the 512img) I may remove them as will give an extra 5-6gb of space. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the IMG, My 512 IMG has just been uploaded.
