Cracking vid Steve. I'll always be retro myself (I barely play modern games nowadays) but sometimes it isn't always nostalgia. We are getting to discover all the games we weren't able to back in the day and some are great, some are poor. But there's not much nostalgia when we haven't played it before! Imagine if they hadn't released Monster World IV over here eventually, we would've had a massive gap for the WonderBoy series!

Agree mate, the nostalgia does it for me, I don't even have to play the games just having the boxes and some of them on display is better than having fancy paintings on the wall. Nice one mate. You pulled out some great games there. I have played BOTW - I had a long flight and managed to play quite a bit. Haven't really picked it up since though - just because of that time thing. That's the key reason I don't play modern so much really, time. Other than Ultimate Team which I seemed to make time for, because I was bloomin' addicted to the collecting side of it. So maybe time isn't a good excuse really haha.

That's it Steve, memories - walking into that room and seeing the games on the shelf and being instantly transported back to that era of our youth, friends, family, what shops we bought them from etc - that's what it's all about. Modern gaming is something I enjoy although I'm far choosier than I used to be when it comes to buying games. I've accepted most games aren't really for me but some very much are and when that's the case, I'll pick them up.
@steve362074 ай бұрын

Hey Steve, the great thing about Retro is, we were all kids at the time, going down the shops to Wh smiths and Wollys etc to buy games and going round to our school mates to play those games, and swapping them too 👍 😂 Life was certainly easier back then as you said mate, but some modern games are still amazing to play, and with so much variety to choose from including some of those old classic Retro games 😊 Also depends what your into as well Steve mate 🙌 I like both, and enjoyed this mate 👌
