The reason you can't save your games is because the original Nintendo (the NES) couldn't save games. What this system is emulating is NES games. (technically, this isn't even emulating the games. This has an actual NES system condensed into a little chip on the motherboard, meaning you are actually using a real NES on this device)

I bought one of these. It's cool but it's not actually 500 games. It repeats them over and over

I remember going through the pages but stopped looking at the games last like the 3rd page lol.

I like your videos. Just subscribed for more. I just started doing retro gaming reviews from Canada. Trying to get the channel going. Check it out if you have time.

I just fixed the charing USB connector on one of these for a friend. It consists of a single sided PCB and the main processor is COB with a big blob of black epoxy. The hardware is the cheapest you can find. Would be okay for keeping a 4 year old busy. Nothing else...

I don't think after 2020 we should be including a single exclamation point (let alone 2) after sentences like "500 games on 1 device" in relation to these $5-$20 aliexpress gaming devices that have no SD card slot and that same crappy UI we are ALL familiar with. There is nothing exclamation point worthy of these devices, their crappy build and their included games. Videos of these devices should be more of a deterrent or cautionary community service announcement like a chemical spill near a lake or pond... Stay Away. Good review of a crappy device, thank you for pointing out how bad it is, these companies NEED to be pooling their resources and creating something BETTER. Edit: looks like this device has left and right shoulder buttons, but, probably just LOOKS like it does, like they were moulding this after the RG300. Currently $24.49 down from $29.99 plus $6.37 shipping... $30.86 for this crappy device, go to aliexpress and get a Data Frog SF2000 for between $12 & $20 depending on what store you buy from and you get shoulder buttons, save and load function, an SD card slot and working analogue stick for precision driving on arcade games.

Putting that portable console in a microwave can be funnier than actually play the game

I really thought the Pow Kiddy V90 with the Pocket Go Firmware Update was worth every penny. I love the Gameboy Color Rumble feature. I took Legend of the River King 2 for Gameboy Color and ran it through the Gameboy ROM Analyzer for Windows. I changed the cartridge type to 1EH and fixed the header. This enables Rumble that was programmed into the Japanese version and just needs to be opened on the English version. I also put it on Bank one of my USB Smartcard for Gameboy and have been playing with Rumble using the Epilogue GB Operator. It's an option in the settings now. I love it. Great game.

Complaining about not being able to save is the funniest thing I have seen. Welcome to gaming in the 80s and early 90s. I cant understand how people even imagined this would save because these games were not made to save from the start. Also, we bought gaming cartridges back then tat had many games on like this so we already know they just repeat a lot of them. Welcome to my childhood, now if you will excuse me I need to go drink my ibuprofen...

Expecting save states is perfectly reasonable. Save states have been commonplace in retro game emulation for over a decade. That feature was specifically created by the people who coded the emulators because those games didn’t offer saves.

@@senjucam Tragic.. I picked one up in the store, not expecting too much from it but atleast thought I'd be able to save my game. Manuel isn't much help either.

You save games in a PlayStation 1 2 3 4 5. This 500 games are back in the days 1990s.
