Dude I purchased this unit to make the exact diy build. So happy you built this and working !! Would love if you can give me a parts list. Have pretty much everything to get started. Such a great handheld love the feel.

I came across this video while preparing to make a Pi 0 inside an X9 Chinese game console. I just got my X9 yesterday. Thanks for the video. It gives me a few more ideas.

Post a video when it's done!

I will. I already tore it apart. I thought it would be more difficult, but because of the way the internals are, it's going to be a little easier than I thought. Still maybe a little bit challenging though. Sadly, it has only one speaker even though there is two holders. Luckily, I found the same size speakers for it on AliExpress.

Can you list a breakdown of all the parts you used?

TheM4rkh yes I’m stuck on the hub and sound. It would be nice to see all the parts used. Thank you again for all your time and patience.

"USB Sound Card" search term on Ebay / Amazon /Ali returns a whole list of $2 USB sound cards. As far as I remember, they are all made using a generic blob-chip and should have Linux drivers.

liked video, but: 1. video is long and boring. need quick overview, test and disassembly. had to watch 8 minutes for internals.... 2. need better close up view on console, screen and, especially when you show up internals. 3. need parts list with references below the video. best of luck and thanks for your time!
