The American version comes with the Dimetrozord because in the Power Rangers Dino Thunder series the Dino Stegazord is the first megazord to use the Dimetrozord after it hatches from its egg.

I do agree that Dino Thunder had the best auxiliary zords. Kind of makes you forget that there are only five rangers despite there being twelve zords. But as long as that was also the case in Abaranger, I have no problem with that being the case in Dino Thunder, unlike a more recent adaptation.

Dino Stegozord combined with the Thundersaurus Megazord in the show. It was called Valkasaurus Megazord, where it slides down from Brachiozord's neck for its finishing move. It has a different helmet as well, I think you can find it on the Dragozord, it should be there.
