Love the old sleds, we are to used to perfect tuning on new efi sleds. Tuning in the carbs on an old sled and getting it running clean and snappy is such a satisfying feeling when it just feels so much better than stock.

Ahhhh the good ole days of going outside to rip around and wind up soaked in sweat from pulling and a torn apart sled. I fondly recall going inside with gas cologne covering me and my wife looking at me with confusion of why I love riding. It really makes you appreciate the fuel injected electric start today.

900 must be a 'Hot to Go' ultra mod motor huh? Mid to late "90"s Uff Da, my ridin buddys had the 950slp built on a storm bottom, thats 3X 670 rotax pistons in the cans in an XLT chassis with a 2"comoplast 136,, yes that was a long track. another had the 1200psi in a custom Tison chassis. loved those torque monsters. 190-210 plus hp. One fine day i lost a crank in my Storm, so I hoped on 2up with my buddy on the 950, we were riding with dave shepard, and MD peterson, (that would be Toby Shepard and Sam Petersons dads) they had new '97' rmk 700s. Everybody was stabbing at this 3/4 of a mile long pull mountain, marking it up. Sams dad had the mark about 3/4s of the way up. My buddy says "get on the front" lit the 950 2up and we topped the mountain with ease. the way it went all day.. miss those sleds. Keep up the content!!!

man i’d love to have lived that era in time!
