My Pops loved Otis elevators. Always said they were the best and safest. Back in his day elevators were notorious for slippage or missing floors. He always recognized Otis when we stayed at hotels. Classic... You would love Hotel Elliot in Boston. Small old fashioned lifts, wood paneling, all u’d need was the operator with u. Really cool...

I wished the ones at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Houston had fully nicer cabs like these. Thankfully, the back cabs have some decor in it, but the side walls are all stainless steel which doesn't even belong on hotel elevators. Way too plain generic. Not these, I mean the one in Houston.

Ok, if this elevator was Kone, here’s is what I would expect. 1. Running like an old man. 2. Poor and cheap quality material. 3. Can only last for like 5 years. 4. Ecodisc motor is WAYYY too loud. 5. Brakes are loud too.

HC EleFilms by Technicalboy3000 LOL even most Machine Roomed Ecodiscs suck. The ones at the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec still use the old machines rooms and they are junk!!! According to instagram and TripAdvisor they have already broken down a few times, and most of them aren't even a year old yet!!!
