@@JustJamie1983 I don't really understand much about MAME romset versions. For example, I use MAME-2010 but I also tried the current version of MAME 0.262b and I honestly didn't notice any difference. They say it improves performance and game compatibility, but the 2010 version works fine for what I need. Besides, in some cases when a game doesn't run, I usually use its NEO GEO version.

@@marcoantoniovalencia8694 MAME was already pretty good in 2010. The performance and compatibility issues apply to a smaller and smaller set of games every year. The games that you want to play were already well emulated in 2010. Simple as that really.

nice i went back to 12-6 i have a lifetime licence but the latest launchbox didn't let me change core in launchbox 12-6 does. i wil not update again because i need to add all my systems again. i do have emumovies to.

I was always curious about the differences between the portable version and the RetroArch installer, personally I noticed that the portable version sometimes has some problems with the UI configurations, and also sometimes it does not detect Vulkan as a video option @@JustJamie1983

You're better off just downloading citra from any GitHub post RetroArch doesn't handle citra well at all citra mmj and citra mmj anthu work great on the steam deck and my rg 505 android device idk what hardware you have
