Thanks for the tutorial I'm definitely going to install those texture packs. One thing i must say though is that I'm not a fan of the wide-screen option haha the car looked as flat as a pancake in burnout due to the wide-screen stretching it out. But that's just personal preference I guess.

Is there a way to have the music continue on retrobat instead of starting over every time I scroll?

There is. Just make sure it is set to auto.

Hi, I use retrobat, I installed a new version of PCSX2 from the official website, I deleted all the files from the previous version of PCSX2 and pasted the new version from this week in November and then I improved the graphics in the PCSX2 emulator itself, I put 1080p, fxaa etc.., This is where the problem comes from, if I start with the emulator the graphics are as high as I changed them, but if I start with Retrobat the graphics are still bad. Do I need to make any changes to Retrobat? I noticed that retrobat has 3 emulator options for pcsx2 avx2, sse4 and v16, what is the difference between them? In the end, I can't get the pcsx2's graphics to stay high when starting directly from retrobat.

Retro Bat is such a pain in the ass I swear nothing works without lots of ball busting. It takes hell to get get a 60fps patch working, I still cant get the unlock everything code to run even with it in the same PNATCH file as the 60fps code that is now working, I cant get a downloaded save files to show any data , needs some kind of formatting (because I dont want to beat the game to unlock outfits), I have been trying like hell to get custom textures to load, it is enabled in every possible place, files ARE where they go in multiple formats zipped and uncompressed. I am at my wits end.

OMFG I got it working. The problem was I placed the SLUS file in the Replacements folder as it showed in the retrobat documentation. That doesnt work. It has to be textures/SLUS-2333/replacements not textures/replacements/SLUS-2333

Curious do the flile numbers have to correspond or just the region as I have SLUS roms but the numbers differ from some of the texture packs.

Nice video! However, both Bloody Roar 4 & Burnout are in the wrong aspect ratio here. You can tell that it's simply a 4:3 game stretch into 16:9 . In PCSX2, there is a proprer (enable) Widescreen Patches for these games. I just played these 2 games just now. The cars & characters looks nothing like your video here (16:9 extended on both side not stretched to fill) .

Yup. I have already covered correct wide screen set up. I personally prefer 16:9 and that is of course optional for people to chose what they prefer.

@@JustJamie1983 I also prefer 16:9 when it is available inside the game or by a proper hack. Games that are simply stretched from 4:3 to fill 16:9 screen really hurt my eyes! I love your content!

Just wanted to ask you would it be possible for you to make a tutorial on how to setup ps2 or any system to have a bezel in retrobat,to replace the black borders left and right sides in games.

Jamie, I would like the playstation 2 logo to appear when starting the game, just like on the console when we insert the disc, is that possible?

Absolutely not. They are barely upgraded and plus by ripping your own game discs yo use you are not restricted by what PSN has either. Is PS3 PSN still online?

No. Files are specific for region.
