I love this, it's like I'm watching Saturday Morning as a kid again...albeit at 51yrs old Saturday 9-2-23, a window back in time😌. I loved The Pac-Man Cartoon, worthy of the video game franchise & remains to this day as My #1 Symbol of My Love of Gaming Roots from childhood to this day. Chomp On😏.

Watching that Capri-Sun commercial, it hit me that most brands of food and drink marketed to kids don't last all that long. A lot of candy, snack and juice drink brands have died over the years, all within a relatively short time of having been introduced. But not Capri-Sun. It's been around for more than 50 years, since 1969!

why is there a preview of the new cartoons that would air on september 25, 1982 on october 2, 1982?

Over the Pac-Man credits, the announcer is describing the 10th season premiere of Happy Days, which aired on Tuesday, September 28th of that year, as well as the 8th season premiere of Laverne & Shirley, which aired the same night. So you're correct. These commercials are from September 1982, not October. They might've come from two different Saturdays, because the Pac-Man credits are from the day you mentioned, September 25th.

Yup. Peter Billingsley confirmed. And the child actress who says "Messy Marvin's more like it," I'm pretty sure is Tanya Fenmore, who played in Twilight Zone: The Movie and My Stepmother Is an Alien. I could be wrong.
