I know I am a year late, but I agree with you. I would roll my eyes when ever they came on. Or yell at the commercials "hurry uuuuppp" Then I found Netflix in 2012 and was so happy to watch my shows with no interruptions, by 2014 something wasn't the same and a few years later I would abandon Netflix all together. It wasn't till late 2022 when watching 90s commercials, I realized what was missing back in 2014! It was both show and commercial that made TV what it is. but not this modern sorry excuse for TV! "call your Doctor if you wake up in the the morning with a heart beat"!!!

We did! I still use to this day, And I wouldn’t have it any other way. I use the old lights, the old, glass bulbs, ornaments, tree, topper, and decor. It’s much better than anything in the stores.

My mother is Jehovah's Witness, so we didn't have any at home, by the late 80s my dad's mom died so there went Christmas. BUT, but..... I lived in New York City so I would look at all the homes with the lights at their windows. and the light of the tree dancing on the ceiling as we walked by. The cold bite of the air on my face. Now I live in Florida, and I don't know how to feel about this one... Been here since 2017, and its not the same without snow...

US DECORATING THE TREE ,WRAPPING GIFTS, LISTENING TO CHRISTMAS MUSIC, FRIENDS STOPPING BY LEADING UP TO THE BIG DAY . All of these compilations are like comfort food! The ones from the ‘70s and ‘80s are most nostalgic for me, but the ‘90s bring back lots of good memories, as well. I miss those times, especially because my parents were still here. But at least I have these memories, which all the under-30s don’t. I actually feel sorry for them.

I think it’s sad to see commercials from all the companies that have filed bankruptcy and closed down……or closed because of streaming, or because of the stupid covid nonsense. Back in the good old days, Circuit City, Blockbuster, Sears, Radio Shack, etc. knew how to do great commercials. I also miss the cute cheap gifts the fast food restaurants used to sell for .49 cents with a meal……I still have some of those Disney character glasses.
