For our latest cabin comparison, we were invited on board Air France’s retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER for one of its first trips from Paris to New York JFK. This included checking out the airline’s brand new business suites and refreshed premium economy and economy cabins.

As always, it was such a joy to watch Nicky, Liam and Sam review Air France (although, it would be nice to see Liam in business class for a change 😋). They always bring a massive smile to my face, especially when they say 'pluffy' or 'chic' or perform the call bell challenge.

If you ask nicely and if you are a decent customer from boarding, you can ask the FAs to keep one or two chocolate cakes from economy, pop it in an oven and you got yourself a hot lava cake. On long haul flights we also provide sandwiches (self service at the aft most galley) and you can also ask to heat it up and transform it to a “panini” 😉 but these are little flight attendant secrets 🤫

Thanks for this! I need to fly this route in a few months and I usually fly KLM due to living in Holland. The Air France ticket was slightly more expensive, but now that I’ve seen the refurbished cabin, I think the cost is justified and I’m excited, now. Also, Sam is just great! He speaks really clearly and enunciates his words well for those viewers who might not be used to a typical London accent. He’s also really funny! Please travel more with Sam!

I love your unique approach of having a number of reviews in the one review and doing direct comparisons. My only suggestion is to review bathrooms and cleanliness throughout the flight because in my experience this is a weakness on a lot of airlines. I recently flew Qatar Business Doha to London and towards the end of the flight the bathroom had run out of tissues and nearly TP. I felt the Qatar crew thought they were above cleaning the loos!

Great video and love your channel! Thanks to you myself and my husband started to get miles with Virgin and we were to see cool places as a result. Keep up with awesome reviews! I'd love to give you a small feedback though on video editing though. The banding you are getting in your current videos does make the watching experience less enjoyable. There are editing plug-ins for editing softwares that remove it and they are usually affordable so it would be awesome if you would consider removing banding for the future reference. I personally don't struggle as much with it but there are probably people out there who might be photosensitive and probably not able to watch your videos as a result. Thanks again for yet another great review and hope you don't mind my feedback. x

Glad to see AF has refreshed their product. Took them SFO-CGG-JNB in economy back in 2018. Very underwhelming. Daughter got sick from the food SFO- CDG, and on our return JNB-CDG most uncomfortable bulkhead seat on the 777. Looks like they have made progress. Would try them again.

Fun, enthusiastic review and nice to see that Air France, an airline I like, is still doing well. I also appreciate reviews of premium economy and economy since those are more likely to be within my budget. On that note, I'm disappointed with the seat review of economy class. If Seat Guru is correct, that class of service seats 10 across. Sorry, but for many if not most of us (I'm 6'2") that is a very tight seat that many people complain about. Even if that seat was comfortable for the reviewer, it would help to acknowledge how other passengers might experience it. I don't feel I have a realistic idea of what that seat would be like for a 9 hour flight.

As much as I love these guys, they are finally getting into Sam Chui territory. They get invited, AF makes sure that the influencers only show their nicest business class lounge in T2 (the L lounge is way better than - say - the K lounge), the brand new cabin is clean (on an airline where any 1 year old cabin will be super filthy) and any rude arrogant crew (as they are not native french speakers) also is made sure not to appear. This is nowhere the real world experiences which had been shown in earlier episodes.
