What genera of stingless bees are there in Australia? Here in Brazil we have Genres such as melipona, Plebeia, scaptotrigona, tetragonisca, tetragona, among others.

you could've placed the tube first on the original hive for 2 days until the bees get used to it. that way, it'll be easier for the bees to get back to their hive after changing the box because the bees will just simply look for the tube entrance.

This issue with land clearing for farmers and other sectors just doesn't seem to end , not to long ago investors xyz went to court to battle over land they wanted for building and guess who lost the battle , the koalas did because it was a well known area for them breading and was there home (habitat) but no it was awarder to the investor xyz company ,not sure of all the ins and outs and now koalas are in trouble. so yep pollinators amongst other living things will always suffer because of greed and money.
