What is the difference from this wiring harness and the one with 4 wires?

You can only use two wires. You only need to so pick two colors and connect those two.

Doesn't matter if you don't care what side you want up shift or down shift. Original in front is down shift and on the back is up shift.

And you don't have to take of your steering wheel and airbag to take of the clockspring cover.

Question - after i retrofit them paddle shifters, can i perhaps get any of the modern paddles and change them? Will it work? Talking about them magnetic ones, or any just prettier looking ones? Thanks

No because you need other buttons on the steering wheel.

Heyyy, I bought a different one and mine came with four wires - black & white and yellow and red

You only need to use two wires out of it. You can’t use all four. So pick two colors and use it.

Hello, my clock spring under the steering wheel is lacking the pin for 2&4 but the socket has complete wires. Is it same to you? I just ordered the upper clock spring because why steering wheel has no controls so the socket is empty and no pin thats why i order the one that has controls connections. Thanks for the reply.

You mean there are no cables in it or they just don't exist in the pin connector?

You don't have to take off your steering wheel and airbag to take of the clockspring cover. It will save you a lot of time.
