Ah mate! You HAVE to play Scarface! One of my favourite games of all time. Direct sequel to the movie, you get to re-build Tony’s empire and take revenge on a few guys from the first movie. It’s an awesome ride 👍

My Game of the Year is a tie between "Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom", and an indie game, released by Fangamer, called "Tunic", which is an isometric action adventure game that takes its roots very much from OG Zelda games. Ghetto Creatures. Thanks for such an amazing video, as always!

Great video mate and some epic pick ups. My personal GOTY would be Grime. Very hard and challenging, 2D Metroidvania but an incredible game. Closely followed by Stellar Blade but not for the obvious reasons. 😂 It reminds me of the old school hack and slash games, we don't get any more. I loved the Elden Ring DLC but I can't give a DLC GOTY.

Yeah, what a game Scarface is and the film too! If you want a better gaming experience, pick up the original Xbox version. It plays on the Xbox 360 with better resolution and other improvements.

The original Xbox version of Scarface is fully compatible with the 360. Would be a more enjoyable way for most to play the game with the 360 controller and upscaled picture.

After thinking about what I've completed this year. There were two real standouts for me. Astro Bot and Spider-Man 2. At the end of the day I managed a Platinum for Spider-Man 2 and still to this day jump in just to swing around, so it has become my game of the year. The only downside is that there is no DLC.

I feel the same as you about Astrobot I enjoyed it, was a good game but there was so many better games this year IMO. Indian jones has overtaken metaphor refantazio for my GOTY. Would highly recommend both those games. Metaphor is made by atlus who make the persona games. Similar but different in its own way.

I think you'll know if you can get on with Scarface after the intro mission. It will show it's age as it lacks the cover system that came in with the PS3/360 generation but it does play better combat wise (imo) than GTA3/Vice City. It also has the rage mode which auto aims and makes you invincible for a short time. I think where Scarface will show it's downsides is when you'll keep needing to do a bunch of drug runs to raise you're reputation to unlock the next chapter, as it does pad out the game quite a bit from memory, but if you're a fan of the movie it's worth giving it a go, it was one of my preferred games to play when I was younger back in the PS2 days, If you're playing Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal might be the better shout. It's the same story but you get a few additional characters and a new semester to play through, but all the main Persona games are lengthy (first playthroughs for me take 100 hours plus).

Unfortunately Arcade Party Pak is one of them very few PS1 games that don't work on PS2. Well some of the games on it don't. Midway Arcade Treasures on PS2 has these games on it plus a lot more.

Paper Mario and the thousand year door is my game of the year. Pretty much missed out on all of GameCube library but this was also my first paper Mario game. Loved it, couldn't believe i slept on this series all these years. Picked up Sea of Stars based on your enjoyment of it, on the short list for next game to play.

My game of the year is cloudpunk ; bought it on sale for 2 pound on the Xbox store and enjoyed every moment just a lovely story driven game where you are a delivery driver but with some twists and turns in the 8 hours I played and by the end becomes a story of how you think things should be done from a morale stand point fantastic game that I went out and bought physically because I wanted to play it again in a different way on the PlayStation !

i think 2025 is the year i start collecting steelbooks. some of them are amazing. shame the cex in wigan never has any in besides the ps2 godfather one in appalling condition due to age and quality of materials used. im a huge fallout fan so i'll have to start with 4 and take it from there. its something i want to do in person though, i dont want to just raid ebay one night as that doesnt seem as fun and kind of like cheating

Astro Bot was great and all. My personal game of the year is Black Myth Wukong. I feel it like they should have won GoTY, would have been nice to a triple A Chinese studio win. With the recent political climate, VGA played it safe. Glad Elden Ring DLC didn’t win.. that would of caused so much more drama lol
