I dunno man starting to feel the clutter at this point. Liked how clean and spacious it was before. For me it’s both Kratos and the Kiosk making it claustrophobic. Plus that gap seems narrow. But that’s just my personal view from the camera and totally understand the need for more shelves!

I’m not an Xbox guy at all, but I’d just get rid of the kiosk. Think it takes up loads of space and you’d surely rather chill on the sofa anyway! Plus it gives shop vibes rather than nice cosy space vibes - admittedly that’s a personal thing!

i recommended a few weeks ago to lose the kiosk and extend the shelves and was shot down haha, looks so much better without it sticking out in the middle of the room and once its on wheels it will hopefully be easy to move around, plus all those extra shelves are always a win

I know you love the kiosk but if you can't find a place for it in the main house I would get rid. Someone else would foster it and use it more I'd say. Having it on wheels seems like a good idea but I'd say you will grow to hate having to move it and you will either stop loving it and not use the gym area or worse still end up damaging it or something else while trying to move it

If space is limited, why not make some shelves that fit your games perfectly instead of using those ikea ones with the trunking and having wasted space behind them? Few sheets of mdf and a decent rip saw and you’re good to go.

Agreed. Billy’s are just too much wasted real estate. I ended up using the side panels from ikea Gnedby units, and cutting my own meter long shelves.

The kiosk looks better in the doorway, as when it was at the end of the shelves always looked a bit tight. As for moving the kiosk you can get adjustable rollers that go under freezers which are great as the rollers are wide and small which makes it easy to move backwards and forwards on carpet. But will probably raise the kiosk about 1 inch. As always great content.

Why not forget the two extra billys, put a narrow billy bookcase on the end so you still get the extra 360 space and then have the kiosk on the back. That way you have a wider walk way and still have access to the door

If you want to keep buying at this rate you’ll need to give other systems the ‘all killer, no filler’ treatment you gave PS1. Also, at this point the ‘trunking hack’ proves Billy’s have a ton of wasted space, maybe look into using shelves that aren’t so deep 👍

Honest opinion: the kiosk looked awkward where it was, so even that is an improvement. Not in a walkway (ok, in front of a door but when it isnt a door). The extra shelves help break up the room, give it shape. Great work!

Loving the new changes some excellent space created. But if it was me, and I know how different we are and collecting wise everyone has their items. I would lose masterchief maybe get the kiosk in that corner. Games first collectibles second for me. How many limbs does Masterchief have to lose before you say goodbye?😂😂

Love the idea of a gaming area and a library but as others have said it does (on camera) feel a little claustrophobic. Sometimes less is more ? Kiosk wise Argos do appliance rollers for washing machines, might be worth a look ? Will always love the enthusiasm though and if you are happy who are we to comment. Looking forward to the weeks/months of fine tuning.

Love a reorganisation video Callum. Gives me inspiration for reorganising my own gaming living room. Those two new Billys where the kiosk was seem to jut out too far though in my opinion. Could you swap them for a couple of half width Billys with risers?

If it was me, I would create an island out of the billies in the middle of the room, 100% get rid of the kiosk, that way you wont be loosing display space in the corners where the current L shape meets the wall. You can then also use the space where the L shape fits against the wall to continue the billies along. All with space to walk around the island.. hard to be sure if it will work as video doesn’t show scale and size but just an idea

When you mentioned about the kiosk going I was a bit hesitant on how things would go cause it’s something different that makes your setup so unique , I’m so glad you’re going to be able to find a way to keep it in there I hope it works that’s for sure , I really like how you’ll have the PlayStation stuff with Kratos and the Xbox stuff with master chief it’ll look really solid , even if the switch games being red spines sit on the top most shelves under the Nintendo sign and the Xbox stuff sits on the lower shelves I think you’ll get it looking mint no matter what 🤘

Have you ever thought about turning your sofa and tv 90 degrees to be along the long wall? You’d have the snes games behind you and you’d have another large wall that would be ideal for game storage as they would take the tall billy bookcases.

good add ons though i still dont like how it looks blocking the window. i also think both statues would look better if they were both in opposite corners to each other ie either side of the window for example with the games for both consoles surrounding them. i havent been following you long, but game room been looking good and some great ideas and finds for potential new collectors.

What a great room! Ive never understood why you have double depth billys and then just pack out half of them with trunken- maybe its time to double park games as its starting to get a bit cramped in there and its not ideal having little stashes of snes games etc tucked away in random places. Also the loss or moving of the kiosk then wouldnt need to happen. Often less is more and you will always struggle to show everything. Great fun can be had having playing room tetris 😉

The Kiosk should go, you do you of course but it just takes up so much space. The damage to MC is almost entirely because you had to dance around it and now you'll be moving it back on forth on wheels multiple times a week so you can play it a handful of times a year, if that. IDK man I think you need to move on from it. You owned it and you enjoyed it but now it needs a new home. You've outgrown it imo.

I don’t know mate. That gap between the 360 games and the WiiU games is pretty slim. I know you’ve gone big on those 2 Billy’s by Kratos the ones that stick outwards. I know you would not get as much storage space, but would you not consider getting half size Billy’s instead so you get more room to move around the room. I think it will also make the room look less cluttered. Just my thoughts my friend. Good luck with the changes and upgrades.

Personally, I'd sell Master Chief to Kev. The solution for the 360 kiosk is clever but wheeling it back and forth to access the door would likely become a hassle. So sadly I'd be inclined to let the kiosk go as well.

Wheeling the kiosk back and forth on the thick carpet will be annoying. Have you thought of having it on runners? Im sure there must be a way to make it roll back and forth smoothly. Plus a couple of silver runners on the floor will look better than destroyed carpet :)

I’m all about the games (and consoles). Also, I liked the stereo better in the early videos before it was all crushed up. I’d get rid of the kiosk, kratos, masterchief, and the standees. Flip the snes and megadrive games to be spine outwards. Then you would have space to collect Super Famicom, (the box art is better), NG MVS, Dreamcast, and Saturn. And not sure why you need 4 screens. Big wall mounted screen for the modern, and CRT for the retro.

You could put your megadrive and SNES sideways but have say 10 of each front facing showing the covers. Then since you like moving games alternate the front 10 every week. That way you’ll see all your games during the year plus the games room will look different weekly N have lot more space for future collecting.

Lol, I remember a couple of months ago when you first got Kratos I made a comment that you should swap the PS3 and Xbox games around as it made more sense to have the Xbox games with Master Chief and the PS3 games with Kratos. I would put all your playstation stuff near kratos. Xbox stuff behind it and on the new shelves along with everything on the right side. Then turn the SNES wall into all SNES. You could keep going down the wall with the picture shelves.

Wii U games on the top shelf of the back shelves (directly under the Nintendo sign) as that line of blue needs to be seen better. Then the rest of that area to be Xbox/360 bookended by Kiosk and Chief. Then the PS3 Red spines and Switch in the current 360 area is what I'd like to see tried.

Would be even better if you could get Kratos to fit the other side and really have the contrast of Blue Team vs Green Team at the back. But I would swap the Nintendo sign out for your RG sign, probably move the Nintendo sign above the tv. I would also move all the Xbox stuff to the top of your back wall, since you can see it above the new stuff you added I think it would look sweet having all that green framed by the kiosk and master chief. Just throwing ideas out there.

I’d lose the kiosk and use the money from selling it to fund something else. It’s just in the way and you said yourself you barely even use it. It’s going to get super old having to wheel it out of the way every time you want to go outside and it’s just blocking half of that ps3 section. Blocking an exit also seems like a bad idea.
