They can be, by using the icon in the top left. I was just thrilled openMW worked with little/no tweaking, so I uploaded this while having touched almost no configuration options.

Do you not hold a button to make the Cursor slower? I know various ports do this for PC>Console conversions.
@justherefortalking4 жыл бұрын
This isn't a port. It's openMW/open source Morrowind engine. All of the options I have tried so far to adjust cursor speed have not worked, such as adding gamepad cursor speed to the startup command line instructions or to the settings.cfg file. The cursor speed is fine in mouse mode. What I've been doing is is using the controller input (which is what you see where the cursor isn uncontrollable) for moving around/fighting, but I switch to the mouse mode for dialog/books/merchants.

Any issues with the L2/R2? I heard it’s an issue for people who played it, where those two buttons don’t register properly.

I have not been able to get it to recognize the triggers. It also treats the dpad and left joystick as the same inputs. I mapped it this way: ABXY for activate, menu, ready weapon, ready magic. L bumper for jump R bumper for attack Select for crouch You still need to use the on screen menu for journals and resting.

Seriously? Holy Terra! It works smoothly! I bought RP2 yesterday and now I'm looking forward to it. If I understand correctly, the cursor in the game is controlled by the stick, but is it adjustable? I mean the speed of movement, otherwise I see how you are tormented and cannot get through the menu items :) I have a request for you, could you check Diablo 2, Arcanum, Heroes 3, etc, in general, old Windows games? Using an Exagear Windows Emulator.
@justherefortalking4 жыл бұрын
Windows emulation is not going to go well. OpenMW is an open source engine port of Morrowind, what you're seeing here is not emulation, it's native. Even then, it still lags when there's too many lights on screen such as Mages Guilds or Temples. The in-game cursor speed cannot be adjusted from the settings I have been able to adjust so far, including the "gamepad cursor speed" modifier in openMW. I switch back to mouse mode whenever I open a menu.

@@justherefortalking How laggy does it get? Is it unplayable?
@justherefortalking4 жыл бұрын
@@obblivionkr I get some lag when there's a lot of candles on screen, but I haven't had any issues that would make it unplayable.
