Thanks a lot, just got it done. For anyone else wondering if it's strictly necessary to 7zip the files before copying, the answer is no. It took like 30 mins to copy them over as-is due to the extensive number of small audio files. Way more than with the method outlined in the video but not too bad if you don't want to install extra stuff on your device :)

This depends heavily on your SD card, reader, and computer and is much more prone to errors or failures during copy. Not disagreeing with you, but good practice is definitely to zip it!

Thanks for the tutorial, i use this on my odin lite. as for the microscopic text, i set custom res 1280x720p.. and default ui scaling 1,5x

So the original open microwave app stopped defelopment. There are some forks that have significant improvements such as designating specific mod folders to keep your initial data folder install clean. I think you should revisit this process and update it for the newer devices. Morrowind is particularly good on the mini.

Definitely not, OpenMW is specifically a reimplementation of Morrowind

Hey! Great videos (this and the modded). I followed them and I now can play Morrowind on my RP2+. On other OpenMW videos, equipped items in the inventory have an outline. Is that a mod?

I would not recommend installing the latest version. Better install version 0.47.0-35 nightly. In this version, the cursor speed control setting still works. All you have to do is going to the settings.cfg file, which is located on the OpenMW folder, and write this line below: [Input] gamepad cursor speed = 0.2 This way you can use the left stick to move the cursor in the menu without using the small touchscreen. Unfortunately, this feature has been removed in newer versions.

I had this issue initially on my RP3+, I fixed it by setting the resolution in the launcher (1334x750 for me, set yours is 640x480)

0 chance. Morrowind works because it has a native port with OpenMW. Windows emulations isn't going to work out on RP2+.

By default, it'd be a pain, but the engine includes an option to scale the UI up, and the mod TrueType Fonts for OpenMW replaces the font with a much higher-res version of itself. I've played it on my phone a bit, it's definitely playable. Managing the UI windows can be a pain.
