actually that setup button at the bottom of the systems menu sets the emulators for you and makes the rom folders for you and you just add the games to those folders and all bios to bios folder and poof done

I despised the Retroid Pocket 1 and 2 for their X-Box/Switch-esque non symmetrical placements for the D-Pad and left joystick, so I didn't really care for their almost perfect emulation performances. But now I want the Retroid Pocket 3, not only because it at last placed the D-Pad and left joystick correctly, giving it a more symmetrical layout design, but even more, its capability to be connected to the TV via HDMI, that was the cherry of the cake!

@@WickedGamerCollector I'm the kinda of person who likes to dive head first into libraries of games on different consoles you can't do this on one handheld with storage limitations. So I want more then one different handheld. Different handhelds give different feels so I like having multiple handhelds for different play and use cases. I'm looking for a Widescreen Handheld that I can play during the day with great Battery Life for mostly PS1 and below emulation. The RG552 and RG503 I have don't cover all these bases. Plus I want to develop Android apps and Translate ROMs the Retroid Pocket 3 and Powkiddy X28 look like they may cover these bases for me.

Nice I wish mine would hurry up and show up. It doesn't even look like its shipped yet and I ordered it like the 2nd day of presale. =( I feel like my Odin Pro that recently came in is going to overshadow this device. Heck I have barely broke in my rp2+'s yet more than a handful of hours each haha..

I have about 40+ emulator handhelds and about 20 of which can support downloading games so I am working on one after another in terms of custom firmware possibilities as well as loading the romsets I want on them and whatnot. Yea I have a bit of a handheld addiction lol

@@peachymeechie1844 My first ever handheld was an x16 followed by an x6. After that I got a 351mp and a few v90's. Been getting something ever other week ever since pretty much rofl. Going to get a Funkey S in tomorrow. Yesterday I got in my 4th miyoo mini (the beautiful blue one!!) and a TRIMUI. Two days before that my Odin Pro came in!!! =D About 4 days before that I got a Powkiddy x66... so yeah I tend to stay busy working on them in my spare time lol

I watch the wicked videos every day but this was an exceptionally hard watch. Racing through everything like a machine gun, which was just about OK in part but when it came the the setting up elements, even people who are familiar could not possibly keep up, so any newbie will likely switch off. Leave the tutorial stuff to Retro Game Cops and the like, or slow down a lot and take breaths. As far as the device is concerned, it was a missed opportunity to place a more powerful SOC in what is generally a good and seemingly popular housing with a great screen.

Seems to ne a good device if you're lucky to get a decent manufactured device. But it's great they put sandisk carts in the packages now. Are those genuine?

It's great but having exactly the same hardware as the rp2+ is a disappointment. If they had upgraded the CPU so that we would be able to play GC/PS2 would have made this handheld a much better deal (of course, a little bit more expensive). As a current user of the rp2+, I don't feel the need to upgrade, as it has the same specs excepted the bigger screen.

Yeah, I'm really holding out for the handheld about this size (4.5-5.5inch) that can play my PS2 games. Have a few of the older gen stuff (rk3326 anbernics) + a miyoo mini, and the mini is best for the majority of the lower end systems. Odin is close, but it's quite large, and not quite there on the PS2 side (realistically it's probably more a software issue than a hardware one, but the PS2 is notoriously difficult to implement from an emulation perspective due to its very unique hardware).

It has not the same hardware. It has the same chip, which is a part of the hardware. Other hardware was substantially upgraded, like the screen and the controls.

It doesn't really look better to me at all. The 16:9 aspect ratio is a joke since everything this can emulate is 4:3 anyways. They should make bigger 4:3 screens than this nonsense. Everythting from Atari to Dreamcast and even many PS2 games are 4:3.

a powerfull retro handheld who can beat anny anbernic, sup, powkiddy rg, ps5000 and 7000, g100, but its very weak against the odin, maybe the new uncoming rg505 and maybe the gpd xd the bad from this retro, I HATE WHO PUT THE 2GB RAM AND 3GB RAM WITH DIFERENT PRICE!!! come on, its just put only one RP3 and close section and hes used the same proccesador from rp2+ annyway, 120$ and 130$ its better that buy a ugly rg552 with 200$ fuck1ng dolar and the rg353p with rg503 with 150$ ¬¬
