The Shin Megami Tensei series was definitely one to remember. From the reincarnation storyline to the unique supernatural world they created; I would actually love to see this be turned into a live-action or animated series. Great gameplay for the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro!

Hey man I’ve been loving these videos. My pocket 4 pro comes tomorrow and I was wondering if you prefer aethersx2 3060 over 3668 and 4248. Everyone tells me 3060 is bad but seeing your videos you’re able to play games that don’t run that well on other versions. So should I get 3060 and is 3060 the version that comes on the pocket 4 when you’re asked to download the emulators in the set up?

So the choice, in my opinion, is either 1.4.3060 or NetherSX2. And you'll want NetherSX2 if you want to play the Snowblind Engine games like Champions of Norrath (here's the full list - www.giantbomb.com/snowblind-engine/3015-7454/games). If you don't care about those games, I recommend 1.4.3060. The version that comes up during the Retroid setup is a much older version. There's a download link to 1.4.3060 in the compatibility list that's in the video description of every PS2 test that I have.

@@TheGamingGeekNet one of the biggest examples is sly cooper from what I’ve seen it runs horribly on 3668 and on 4248. I’ve seen some people on 3668 have issues running bully idk if it’s an issue with aether or if they have the wrong settings enabled. I got this system mostly for sly cooper since that was the game I played most as a kid but then I found out it runs so bad or is barely playable on certain versions so when I saw your video on it I was blown away.

Sorry late response. Sly Cooper plays great on this but not 2 and 3. You should consider getting an Odin 2 if you want to play all three Sly Cooper games.

Playthroughing SMT 5 right now. Also, Nocturne is the 3rd mainline game. There are a bunch of spin-offs for the series, like Persona, though; luckily, none of the games other than 1 and 2 are set in the same universe. Also, does this mean that you are going to be doing Persona 3 and or 4 too? With 3 I would say take a lot at FES and or Portable.

Only if someone requests for them. I think Persona 3 FES will play on this device with no issue. I just have a lot on my backlog at the moment.
