Retroid Pocket Mini PS2 Gameplay Testing

In this video I will be taking a look at PS2 gameplay on the Retroid Pocket Mini.
I was very impressed with this device. The retroid pocket mini is easily capable of handling pretty much any PS2 game at 2x resolution even on just the Performance (medium) setting for the device.
This is probably the smallest device yet that can play PS2 games and it can do so with ease.

Just got device but only works in certain launchers? Is this standalone or launcher? Has issues accessing content.

I'm using standalone NetherSX2 but it works with most launchers (beacon, daijisho)

what emulator did you use for all the games? NetherSX2 or Aether?

I'm getting a warning saying "aethersx2 is running, safe shut down" any time I open or switch to a different game, do you know how to fix this? I'm running version 3668

Just disable the warning in general settings

@@goody37 I’m not sure, in general settings there is a part called “on screen display” try to disable all of them. In the system settings do the same with “warn about unsafe settings ”

Can test horror game and God hand I no sure can support with this handle or no

God hand is actually quite easy to emulate so almost any handheld that can emulate some PS2 will be able to handle God hand no problem. RE4 works well, not sure of other horror games you had in mind?

Tried the first 15 minutes and no stuttering or any issues at all on medium performance level. If I recall, the rp4p struggled even at the initial intro cutscene and first fight

I played on standard performance with 1.5x resolution no issues

@@RetroHandheldGuides in rp4pro ram ok and sames parts ram with fps low In underground city a part that current break and fall a a bow fps low. Plsying samanoske tuis part stay after 15 minutes ganeplay after 3° boss

Currently only 4:3 output but hopefully there will be a fix for that soon
