Thanks for the video I set mine up similar. I got a small gen on the jungle site and a train scale street lamp , I’m going set up a display with all hooked up.

Thanks Dave 😁. Although no ideal, my sausage fingers can't grip the flywheel or pulley properly with the compression this thing has and I was trying to show the ease of starting now as its getting run. The governor is plenty strong enough but it was just for this video, honest🙈

Anyone help! Where do you set the needle valve and air, (choke), when starting cold. Mine fires for a few times then quits. I have messed with both screws for hours and no luck. My timing is set to 4 degrees BTDC if you are wondering. Exhaust valve is not too tight, compression is good Book tells you to start with mixture screw out two turns and open the carburetor to 60-80%? Whatever that means.

I ended up with about 1/3 turn out for the needle valve and about 50% throttle opening

Thank you, I'm not sure how you're supposed to route the wires, you'd have thought the holes would be pre drilled if they were meant to go underneath. I wanted it clean and realistic looking hence my method. They're pretty much invisible when on display now. Thanks for watching 😁
