Every time I remember that Retrologue exists I am always blown away by it

The FX are not fixed in the chain :-) You can drag and drop the blue rectangles on top. (I'm using the standalone VST version) Retrologue would be my favorite analog synth if not for the fact that it's so hard to set a tiny bit of modulation amount in the mod matrix , those sliders have too little travel for that, and there's no way to enter a value manually. It;'s only easy to add a lot of modulation there, which is typically too much for my needs. But just the ability to modulate the modulations is a brilliant thing to have in such a seemingly simple synth . The FX are fine, and the resonator is something I'd love to see in every synth. (Which is why I like Harmonic Bloom a lot!)

another "i told you so" moment. People totally underestimate the integrated Cubase Instruments and EFX Plugins...

Absolutely!

Does the integration work just as good in Ableton or Bitwig if I was to purchase the plugin thanks 🙏🏽

@@armonic7956I don’t know, but I don’t see why it shouldn’t!

@@armonic7956 denpends what u intend to do, making music and songs, yes, absolutely. Producing bleeps and some funky noise, and never make music, no ... my experience with Bitwig was: very interesting for soundesign, but you never achieve something musical... its just a unlimited modular system in a (computer) Box.. just install the Cubase pro TRIAL for 2 months and then decide (unlimited TRIAL, no restrictions!)

Great video! I wish Logic's retro synth was this capable...

I’ve used that one plenty! But yes, simpler in scope for sure.

Nice video. Are you routing that guitar through retrologue?
