Great intro that describes a much more interesting game than the one we have here. I'm sure it's great, but it's not the explosive action I had been led to expect. Honestly kind of a letdown.

@@ChargeQM Don't count your eggs before they hatch! This is an alpha version of the game, so its content does not reflect what will be in the game in the future! It says that at the top of the screen for the whole video!

@@ChargeQM I have to agree. I expected a much more frantic game from the reveal a couple years ago. This is much more Forager than it is Wizard of Legend/Gungeon/Nuclear Throne.

I watched it into a few times, and realized the bard only described five out of the six heroes.

I’m guessing you are the final of the six, he mentions the five who died probably because you, the one he’s singing to, doesn’t need to be described. Probably why he says it’s “up to you now” at the end. Additionally, all of the heroes died, yet the cryptomancer at the beginning makes note that you’re “still” alive and their first pick had died. Just my guess anyway!

Was confused by the end but finally realized that there was a shortcut key to teleport back to the Soul Teather when in the tower. The T key. Luckily they thought of the soft-locks. :)

He also never noticed he could create wood flooring with the ground construction bench. The second counter they thought of to being soft locked.

The tutorial on the ground gun said it can deconstruct - maybe you can click on a tile and it will add it to your surface inventory?

Just wanted to say doesn't look like you were soft locked it says you can press T inside that room to teleport to your soul binding. Looks like a lot of fun!

just letting you know you didn't even scratch the surface. You can definitely do a mimi series on this. I just finished playing 2 hours and I didn't find a lot of the stuff you found. you can change the bullets in any gun. you can also learn new guns buy scanning other wizards

I believe you can use the furniture gun to deconstruct benches you find on expeditions, quick way of getting some of the components you need to built it back in the tower.

@@Retromation really? i think they are really alike style wise, just not gameplay. im also all for taking inspiration for other games, and i wouldnt want them to sue. but the perspective, the drawn style, the shadows, the gridstyle layout, the way the characters sway about, even the ferns and pillars remind me of the berry bushes and marble pillars from dont starve.

That seems spoken from the angle of someone a bit too close to Don't Starve to view it objectively. Gameplay, loop, world, art is all exceptionally different. Far from the most egregious inspiration I've seen _today_ even.
