The weapon made it mostly irrelevant, but with anything else it adds up to missing out on a lot more than 60 material by the end of the run. Especially if you cannot address it early.

​@@Retromationwith meat eyepatch thing and stone skin it ends up being like a 7% damage down I think. Because it gives 7maxhp base then the 6 Armour it gives would increase 6max hp. So that's plus 13 and I believe meat is 1:1.
