I've actually done this haha. You can't do anything, you can't shoot at all. It's the only place in the game where you don't have a gun with infinite ammo. However, if you die in the Halls of Knowledge you get teleported to the previous room, and when you respawn, you are replenished with full health and ammo.

@@JSearsFilms27 No problem! I have well over 1,000 hours on this game and I replayed a lot of it to find out things I was curious about. For example, if you have a few NPCs yet to be unlocked, and you get the Bloodied Scarf, you can teleport into the room and unlock that NPC without actually having to get the Cell Key haha

Jacob Lee That’s actually really handy for beginners, despite the fact that you can’t have unlocked Bloodied Scarf and be a beginner. I wonder if that works with the Teleporter Prototype

If you go for the payday items without smoke bomb/invis items beg the gungeon lords to give you the gilded bullets.

Caped bullet kin I don't think increase in appearance with the amount of pasts you unlock. It's more like that they are more likely to appear on the higher floors like the hollow or the Forge. It took me less then 30 minutes or so to unlock the Bullet. I just used the shortcut elevator on the forge and just ground it out there. They have higher chance to appear there plus that floor has the most combat rooms (other then Bullet Hell...which I never really checked if they can appear down there) so it didn't take me that long to finish that unlock. :D As for the elevator guy...I don't think you unlock him from a cell like the other NPCs. He just shows up in the elevator entrance room on the second floor. I forget what unlocks this to occur, but once you talk to him, he'll then appear at his usual place in the breach and then you can start progress with the second floor shortcut. I don't recall all the requirements. But all the shortcuts require the master round. I don't remember if it was the previous floor's master round or the floor he's on. But yeah gonna need to perfect each boss as the final requirement. Though I think unlike the other requirements, you can give him the master round at any point in the progression stage of that particular floor's unlock level. Also, you shouldn't be so quick to leave the special combat rooms that spawn from using the Drill. (stay near the edge of the room to keep it from booting you out). Room drop rewards can happen here and if you have Dog, he can dig up things there too so it would be a shame if a drop occurred and you didn't notice it in time. Once it puts you back to the normal chest room, there is no going back. ;)

Hey Reto, I have a theory about the bullet. Because of the weird time stuff, the caped bullet kin (all 5 or more you save/kill) are the same guy, and are the bullet you unlock. Something about each time you enter the gungeon, it’s the same attempt until you win, so if you die, it just never happened

I believe the old red reference is that he's color blind and it's often that being color blind, you either can't tell the difference between red and blue or red and green and I'm not certain but it looked like the bullet kin took exactly 60 seconds after the room was complete to warp away

@@JSearsFilms27 I mean it's legit a thing, one of the starcraft streamers I watch sets up eye tracking from time to time, with fast paced games with a ton going on on screen (like an RTS or Bullet Hell game) it can help beginners learn what things are important to notice and pay attention to by watching where a pro tends to direct their eyes.

@@yandhi2099 I just went down there. I found a mine cart on a long straight track that seemed to dead end. I blanked and found a secret room with nothing in it. I had no more blanks to blank again. Weird. Maybe I missed something?

@@trussmonkey5910 if you use blank again it will reveal the door to Resourceful Rat's Lair you need the Gnawed Key to open it.
