Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

Inflict inflict death is such a troll effect You do that on accident and the enemy kills your entire party in one aoe

The effect was made for an tier 13 item called "demon heart" that's add the keyword to the middle column. I believe it was made so you can add the keyword to a hero who can target allies (greys and reds mostly) so you can give any hero inflict death, which can make any enemy instakill themselves. Mostly for nightmare mode or modes with blessings since the item is tier 13

the combo of shifter and duplicate is so cool, im guessing everytime that dice face is duplicated the random keyword shifter adds become part of that dice face, then shifter has to add an extra one, since the previous extra one that dice face has is not an "extra" anymore.

the Wham magnet with the self shielding curse couldve been pretty busted tbh also i really feel like Brittle is way too extreme for a level -1 item, losing an item slot and making the character perma die is not worth getting just a level 4 item in return

I know the kite shield was amazing for the armorer. but having pristine on the middle reroll cantrip and having it copied to the top and bottom with the jugglers item would have been so awesome.

definitely would have been fairly nice _reliability_ specifically while the sphere remains on full HP, but I'm definitely happy with the busted hilarity that arose from my choice

one of my favorite absolutely busted combos is putting cleave on a "target hero can use their dice again" side for effectively infinite dice uses

It duplicated the shifter and the keyword that got added due to shifter, causing you to get a new keyword every time you used it, weird interaction between shifter and duplicate that's broken in hero and enemy favor depending on which keyword you get

Dragon is definitely the end boss that has killed the most of my high variance builds. It just does a bajillion damage - and if you need lucky rolls and get unlucky, it will absolutely eat you with no remorse.

Insightful plays, sweet run! Good skip at the end I think. Duplicate+shifter: usually duplicate removes "personal keyword bonuses" before copying but I struggled to do this with shifter.

I had that interaction with shifter and copycat. Duplicate seems to be just as crazy, if not even crazier. Glad you got to experience that. I modded in a game mode, that adds shifter and copycat to a bunch of sides, so you can have stuff like that in most fights. It's really silly, but sometimes kills you, due to randomly rolling death/pain/exert/hyperboned etc. together with cantrip.

Another instant classic episode, thanks for making it happen Reto. The interactions were so fun, and we get to see keywords that otherwise never would have. Sort of makes me wish for a Chaos class, could have cantrips and the random keyword modifier. p.s. Hope y'all get to enjoy the eclipse on Monday

@@Retromation it is new! I just figured with all the games I’ve played in 3.0 and the amount of times I’ve seen it come up for me you might have already seen it. Definitely an interesting hero it lets you work around the “every X die is exhausted” curse easier

I love and hate the juggler. When you can prevent the self damage it works so well. The problem is I always seem to take it, then roll nothing else and wind up with a useless character who dies in every fight. My best combo though involved the juggler and the class with the rerolls. I'd removed the self damage luckily(making left two sides blank in exchange for +1) and duplicated the rerolls(moving them onto the centre row then copying it to the adjacent faces). The end result was just tapping reroll until everything died.

Fun fact you can undo the final action of a fight if you are fast enough. I have definitely used death of myself by accident on the final hit and undone it. Im not sure if it is a feature or bug.

Is it just me or would inflictinflictdeath have made the dragon's side give all your hero's side the death keyword, thus allowing you to instakill the dragon next turn? Because it inflicts "inflict death" which said "Add death to all opposing sides"

nope, it would inflict "Inflict Death" onto the Dragon's sides, thus making his attack give _my_ sides Death.

Is there a way to keep targeting on at all times? I feel like this used to be a feature in this game and it is no longer available... The UI in the 3.0 update is very cluttered and makes it hard to find what I am looking for. Gameplay is fun though.
