Nice to see the seat on the bike , all you need is a bit of sun (and time) so you can go for a bimble, Phil.

This is great Dean, major better with the sound and video quality. Very cool column spacer, you will enjoy what that does for your capacity, and it's super to see a new project emerging from the depths of your workshop. Just tell those folks at your day job they must give you time to do important stuff in your shop. I'm sure that will go over nicely.

Hi mate a great update..........The next few months will be interesting for both of us as I'm about to start building 2 x D3 swingarm race bikes for the Sellicks Beach races. I'm using more modern style forks and rear shocks. I've got onto some alloy rims on order as well. The bigger one is I'm going to have a go at casting an alloy barrel. Just have to fix the bikes I've got first, but that is progressing well. Great mod to the milling machine that looks really nicely done. Hope the work side tones down a bit so you can get some more shed time.......regards Bones. P.S. I'll send an email.

Cheers mate, sounds like a fun few months. I'm going to use alloy rims as well. Undecided over 19/21" front. Think 19 will be best as it's not intended to be an all out section trials bike. The casting sounds interesting, very interesting! Keep me posted! Best wishes, Dean.

Frame looks like it should be a definite improvement. I did build a D1 Competition model many years ago, even managed to find original seat and footrest risers, probably really hard to find those now though. Love the vice.

Thanks Ian. Those parts would be gold dust now. I've had the Swindens Vice for about 15 years, it was a scrap bin rescue with nothing wrong with it. I've only just got around to using it. Best wishes, Dean.
