holy crap, that NFB commercial unlocked a memory i had not encountered in about 40 years!!! i was in kindergarten back then!!!

I probably saw it too. It's no wonder I had this fascination with Canada as an American child.

Absolute same. Especially that guard/volume meter. Anyone have a link to a cleaner version?
@copperspartan1643Ай бұрын
@@bcdm999not sure if the link got through, but it’s called Countdown and can be found on the NFB official channel.

The NFB vignettes that aired during a lot of the 80s was our introduction to ... well, the NFB, and its fine work. Re FG, it was a brilliant children's show. It deserved a better ending.

I'm sure it was mine too, and whatever short showed up on Showtime or The Movie Chanel since America loved playing these.

Wow! And here comes, Rusty! My favourite show from childhood. And I loved the theme song. I wish they had stuff like this today ‼️ For all the little tykes out there to see what innocent 😇 & clever looks like ‼️ I don't think they have anything like this today. Cool video! Show more on KZbin.

This show was originally on in the USA on NET (now PBS) in the 1960's.

Yep, but I watched this on CBET in Windsor.

Just saying where it really began. Too bad Hockey Night in Canada is no longer on CBC and they changed the theme.
