getting up early on a Saturday and having to keep the volume on low not to wake the parents:) Thank you for sharing this.

For me, Pinnochio and the Wizard of Oz were morning shows on my local Global affiliate in the late 80s. I would sometimes watch them during summer vacation .

I had largely stopped watching cartoons by 1984 but this Wizard of Oz cartoon was 23 years old by that point and I still remember loving it what I was a kid. That theme song takes me right back.

Learnt something new today: Have been thinking about the Tales of the Wizard of Oz. I always enjoyed the voice of the Tin Man but could never place it. Just looked it up online and Rusty was voiced by Larry D. Mann. A Canadian who also voiced the Wicked Witch and Yukon Cornelius in Rudolph:)

Funny how Canada was where you went to outsource cheap animation in the 1960s.

Kinda weird how Tin Man sounds a bit like John DiMagio and Scarecrow sounds a lot like Billy West
@inversion66 Жыл бұрын
Alfie Scopp did the Scarecrow, and Larry D. Mann did the Tin Man.
