Retroperitoneal Hematoma

This video explains retroperitoneal hematoma management in very simple steps. The steps are simplified for medical students and surgical residents. Zone 1 has to be explored.
Penetrating trauma regardless of the zone has to be explored.
There are some modifications but this will just make it very simple and you would be correct. Some modification in management may include going to Interventional radiology for angioembolization of the bleeding vessel.
