New on Raspberry, got my pi5 this weekend and first I wanted was to check out the retro scene. Guess it is not ready for my stupid ass getting it running. I will check inn when there is a small guide etc. Have fun, seems legid good.

Once again, thanks for the mention. As you know, i kinda (rage) quit with Pi5/PS2 for now. (at least until new drivers/Emulators) but, you seem to have it all sorted. (And ya didn't even use the magic button :-) ) I'm concentrating on Rk3588 (which Plays Some the Pi5 doesn't and vice versa) and the X1 SBC (which I've yet to find a PS2 game that doesn't play) for now at least.

I'm hoping that the front end will have full keyboard mapping capabilities like the hyperpie builds did. I use an arcade machine and I loved how easy that was with the pi3 to configure the frontend controls with hyperpie.

Take your time on the Pi5 image and get it right first time ,not like that abomination that was released a couple of weeks ago. You know after you release your image so will other people using The Supreme Teams base.

Are the games capable of running from an optical drive? If we still have the PS2 games on the discs, can we play off the discs or are ripped ROMs the only playable option?

I tried running on opi5 plus and it doesn't recognize any of the controllers.

Did it boot. If it did the controller issue is a small fix
