She actually debuted as a singer in the early 2000s 😅 She was in choir when she was growing up in New Jersey in the States. She has been in the Korean music industry for so long but only recently got popular (Koreans used to not like her direct rough personality). So happy that she's finally getting the love and recognition she deserves. Also, she had the AUDACITY to claim she isn't a very good rapper (what????? no queen don't say bs). But yeah a lot of new fans are shocked to know this but she only relatively recently got into rapping (right around the time she was a contestant in the Korean rap show Unpretty Rapstar in 2015 and finished 2nd place) which is surprising because she's very known for her rapping. So yeah despite being known for her rapping, she's a trained vocalist first. I love her personality the most and all her music is fire. You should listen to her more vocal focused songs like "Numb".

The lady at the end of Nunu Nana is Lee Hyori, one of the top kpop stars in early 00s, also known as a 'Bad girl.' They also made a supergroup of other multigenerational kpop 'Bad girls' members: Hwasa (in her 20s, from Mamamoo), Jessi (in her 30s), Lee Hyori (40s), & Uhm Jung-hwa (50s). They're called "Refund Sisters" (name came from them having such a dominate aura that they could walk into a store, demand a refund, & wouldnt be able to be refused lol) and the song is called 'Don't Touch Me,' & I highly recommend 😭💖

for nunu nana: the girl she danced with is lee hyori, a first generation K-pop idol born in 1979 and she’s one of the best female dancers in K-pop. she ran the K-pop scenes with legendary songs such as u-go-girl, Miss Korea, and Bad Girls. i listened to her a lot when I was first getting into K-pop and it makes me happy seeing her get some kind of recognition.
