I think that this game should've only been popular in the past because back then there was no scripting and the game was made without block scripting which was impressive for the time, but now we have automated and scripted games but people still are sticked with the game.

I have seen better RPing games like chill on a ship by noobslikericeIsBaned (yes, I spelt it exactly like the username), and even a Kingdom Life remake by Dadguest28 that was super pouplar, but ghosted, but this game, for 2 years, is still active. How???? I guess because Chill on a ship fell off and closed down around the end of spring 2023, and KL II remake stopped getting much updates, but how come games like these gets pouplar?

He's a good scripter, and builder, but from what I heard about him, from friends and retrostudio users, he isn't exactly a "good person" internally. Thats just what I heard/saw, dont know any backstory about it, but yeah

I think you’re onto something with the social aspect. Being put in a simple environment almost forces people to interact for entertainment, and it becomes easy to socialize when people join the game expecting it. Just my thoughts :)

its fun due to the little easter eggs, portal references, finding weird out of bounds things, escaping, and it even DOES have its own story. dont believe me? there's a ventalation system next to the bed where if you can get to by shiftlocking and looking at the wall. just try it. youll believe me. and being an annoying guest is 10x as fun in that game!

I know nobody cares/asked but that's my story of craziest thing to happend in retrostudio: I was making a game, when I stepped upon an idea to make a slide - when where you get free admin, so I worked on it for a while and it was working perfectly, so whenI published the game I joined it and waited untill players will join it and soon first person joined, then second and just like htat there was like 20 players there which won and had admin, but that didn't stopped there - soon there was that much players that it not only was on the front page but also was the popularest game in retrostudio! Later when everybody were doing crazy things with the admin - an actuall administartor of RetroStudio joined and didn't do anything but just left soon after everybody got kicked from the game and I found out that it was deleted for "admin abause".. well i didn't know that was against the rules but yeah, that's my story that propably will never happen again 🤷‍♂

How to make the watch a TV teleporter : grab the noob model in free models and remove the body parts except the head, and then remove the humanoid part. Use the magnet that has a small X on it and squish the head flat as hell and delete collision and then make a script and blah blah blah. Or you could to use the teleporter free model and make the transparency: 1 and fit it inside the noob head. Use teleporter A in the teleporter model by click the side arrow 5hat points down. And than put teleporter B inside the TV thing and boom! Now you have the teleporter from watch a TV! Because the teleporter has a mesh! God dammit
