I’m impressed. You must be some kind of sorcerer! I’d have painted the wood base a satin black, but that’s just my preference. I have to admit I’m glad I didn’t get this kit as my patience isn’t that good and the electronics weaving around the superstructure would drive me nuts. I’m just happy watching you build yours (Also, once built, I don’t have any space in my house to show it off).

Don't you love having to spend even more money, effort and time on mods for a $2,000+ model that for the price, shouldn't need any of this? Eaglemoss really screwed this thing up from the beginning.

you can have my mug, but the plaque needs to stay. Im also planning a display case. my other half thinks i need to wait until the build is complete to determine the size, but i think im good enough to figure it out.

What size drill bit did you use for the base/pole hole?

The pipe is 22mm wide, so anywhere close to that should give a tight fit.

Does that plaque come at a certain stage? I never got that from EagleMoss and I'm continuing it from Fanhome now and there's nothing on the website about getting the plaque as one of the "free gifts." Maybe that was only for the UK version?

Why did you run the wire into the ship? Are you going to bypass the battery packs?

Did you say you were gonna display the ship as one whole solid piece thereby removing the saucer section? That’s how my AMT model is displayed I’ll add a link below so you can see it in all its lit up fantastic glory With the fanhome version I’m doing some mods and light blocking but for the most part I’m keeping it as it’s meant to be built,already added a bridge dome and coloured some window lights

tomorrows video will explain what ive done.@@Makeitso2023 all sections can be disassembled and disconnected for transport, if needed. Its a shame that you cant display the saucer separate, no stand for this.
