Loved Frehley’s Comet (the band). Ace is great regardless…but the classic lineup, from the first two records, was killer. By the end of Second Sighting, I was becoming a pretty big admirer of Howarth’s writing and contributions. I felt he complimented Ace’s style well…and wish they could have done a few more albums together.

I felt just the opposite, Howarth was a great talent but i hated his vocal style, he overdid everything live, just too much.

I love Ace…but I think he did Richie wrong. Rich was loyal to him…and always seemed to give 100% in his performances. Not only did Ace cut him loose to save a little $$ …. he did so at the worst possible time (the death of Richie’s girlfriend).
