Some people are really good at looping with sophisticated rigs using fancy loopers, Ableton, etc. Pete squeezes every inch out of the most basic loopers and it's AMAZING!

The Captain said it doesn't do anything that other loopers don't.....however what it does do is allow you to make overdubs on BOTH loops that are longer than the base loop! So a one bar loop could have a 4 bar overdub on top of it. I'm not aware of a compact 2 track looper that can do that and certainly not in this price range.

Loopers are awesome tools for both practice and creativity. I'm glad it has an "Auto recording" mode, as getting a perfect start to a loop is a lot harder to get than the stopping point. Does it quantize loop length to the Tempo? Doesn't look like it has an Aux Input for jamming to an external source and recording that loop. 🤷

Highly entertaining 😂 The looper on the GP200 doesn’t work though ( undo/ redo simply doesn’t respond despite multiple firmware updates and tickets raised to Valeton support which have got no reply so far!) so I hope this unit actors as advertised in that regard. If so, it looks great 👍🏻

Just bought this after listening to your demo. But. I'm finding the buffer is introducing noticeable white noise into my signal chain when the pedal is off. I'm using a high-quality isolated power supply (CIOKS DC-7), and I don't experience this issue with other high quality buffered pedals I have (Empress, etc). Did you notice white noise when the pedal was plugged in? This isn't the kind of device I use every day so it's irritating to have added noise into my dead-quiet signal chain when it's just sitting there.
