Once upon a time everything was peaceful for the patrat villagers. Until a ruthless tyrant called Raticate from a land far away came to take over the village. He did so by using a magic gem to hypnotize the local houndoom into doing his bidding. With this new found power he forced the residents of the land to give him every last bit of food. Until they were starving to death. One day a brave and young patrat ventured into the forest. Where he found the wise old dragon Salamance. The dragon showed mercy towards him. Every day he would let the young Pokémon pick giant berries from his own garden, In order to appease the horrid king. However they couldn't keep this up for very long. So he and the dragon created a plan in order to get rid of him. The dragon wished he could help but alas he was bound by a chain the wicked king put on him. Patrat noticed something strange about the chain,it had rusted over time. So he told the dragon to pull off the chain as tight as he could. Soon the dragon was free and now they could put their plan into action. Patrat created a diversion while the dragon waited for his cue. Patrat said "Your majesty!" He exclaimed. "There is a terrible monster who has threatened to destroy your vast kingdom! " "What?!" Said the king. "Let me see. " As soon as the king looked he was immediately defeated by the dragon and the rest of the villagers. The dragon then cast him out of the land, and the young patrat broke the jewel that was controlling the houndoom. As soon as they were free of his control they made peace with the villagers. The villagers erected a statue of our heroes and it still stands to this very day, and they all lived happily ever after. The end.

I absolutely adore this. The backgrounds are great, the intentions of the characters are clear and even with this very simple concept you managed to tell a great story through smart visuals and thought out shots. I especially loved the salamance and every shot where it's flying. It feels good - how dynamic the scenes are and even the expressions on their faces just scream happiness and freedom directly at my heart. Though I was half expecting the Salamance to eat the Raticate but then it chucked it off into the sky and I wheezed so hard.

A lot of people think they're chained when they're not. Some dogs who've been chained their whole lives still won't step out into sunlight after the chains are taken away; it takes time and trust to release that person 🙂

Salamance looked really sad in the beginning. Maybe it lost a battle before being chained, and just gave up drowning himself in sorrow. He was all alone cause everyone was scared of him due to rat propaganda. And then patrat showed up and he realize that he still has meanining in life :)

All, I can say is anatomy could could use more attention, perhaps more suitable music for individual scenes, and (though not particularly this one) try to make the stories stand more to reason (example: the Umbreon one). Otherwise the backgrounds were done well especially for a single person, and you consistently pull through and that's what matters most keep it up! ☺ *Edit:* I also forgot to mention you do a really great job with frame work. It's controlled not choppy, smooth and pleasant to watch. 😅

Actually, Patrat and the Alolan Raticate remind me of the beautiful, generous, skinny anthropomorphic Moonflower looked like Jenny Wakeman (XJ9) and Marco the ruthless, greedy, skinny King looked like Brad Carbunkle from Giraluna the Music Video by Sidonie which is based on the Style of Rob Renzetti, the creator of Nickelodeon TV Show called "My life as a teenage Robot".
