This was a terrific series; Ian Ogilvy was perfectly cast as “The Saint” - and a worthy successor to Roger Moore. It could have continued, but the producer, Lord Lew Grade, was getting involved in feature production, placing most of his money there. Unfortunately, he was less successful in this realm. The failures of “Raise the Titanic” and “The Legend of The Lone Ranger” almost wiped out his studio!

I don't have the collection. Maybe it can still be found on KZbin, whoever uploaded it. However, the video is still VHS video quality. In my opinion, Ian Ogilvy's acting alone will be made fun of by many people and will always be compared to the quality of Roger Moore, especially if Simon Dutton plays Simon Templar. but thanks dude for watching my channel. Yes, that's right, because I was reprimanded by KZbin and there were several options that the scene in that minute was cut or the video was just deleted. Their reason was that if I didn't edit it immediately, the video would still be broadcast but it wouldn't be played in the UK and wouldn't be monetized. Hopefully you understand. Ogilvy was under serious consideration for James Bond. Ogilvy himself felt that he didn’t have the hard edge needed for Bond. (By the way, he didn’t think Roger Moore had it, either.)

No es que hayan "metido" a otro actor. La serie de Moore terminó en 1969. Esta versión es un "revival" que se hizo una década después y la verdad es que Ogilvy tuvo éxito en este rol, lo hizo bien.
