Me and my son when he was little used to love watching trains haring past Norton Bridge....was our favourite station....

My Grandad worked on the railway there for almost 30 years he just missed his gold watch by a couple of months. My dad was born there June 12 1938 he said there was only one way he would leave there and he was right he died of cancer of the brain June 8th 2013 and left in a wooden box the way he wanted it.

oddly I can see the class 323 and the class 158 at Norton bridge we don't see them now as of today mate
