Some of the buildings are so old,it does make you wonder how they survive the onslaughts of all the tropical storms & hurricanes? And the trees too! Glad you visited before Milton arrived! Thanks Marq!

You are right about the history here in the uk - there’s half a dozen buildings in reigate’s high street older than St Augustine but that misses the point a bit! This is where European history started in the americas really. Fascinating place.
