My two tips are: The best augment/parasite ability is the one that heals you based on your adrenaline level. It means you will almost always be at full health so any resin will add towards increasing your health bar. Save whatever it takes to buy this, or take on any negative effect of a parasite for this ability. Second is, once you unlock the Electropylon (4th biome for me) you'll never need another gun. It basically means you don't have to aim as long as you can hit the enemy once. If you get this combo you shouldn't die. For context, I was terrible at this game. Took me 34 deaths (19 hours) to get up to and defeat the 3rd biome boss. Once I had this combo I didn't die once in the remaining 3 biomes and rolled credits (21 hours). I would almost suggest not getting this because it makes the game too easy.

Bra I'm at 53 deaths and 26 hours and still haven't gotten to biome 4. Hell I haven't seen the biome 3 boss yet. Fuck this game. I'm legally blind and color blind so I find it to be frustrating as hell. But I'm emotionally invested in the story now. So fuck me. Hell the bosses are easy tbh. At least the first two were. I beat the second biome boss by first try. An the first biome boss only took me three tries.

I've never cross paths with such an artifact. Most healing artifacts/parasites only heal you enough to get you out of the red zone. Never a full health bar.

Has been patched out so if you want to continue sleeping at your ship do not update. This should have been the first tip - you can sleep at your ship and it will replenish your health.

I'll admit, when I first saw the trailer, I figured it was just another generic shooter and had no interest. over the last month, I watched a few newer videos and was very impressed with its direction. Bought it from the ps store just before it came out and have been hooked, and I mean HOOKED! Normally not my style of game but I can't get enough of it. Graphics, controls, difficulty are all amazing but pales in comparison to the use of the haptic feedback and the unreal sound editing and the perfectly eerie score.

Dashing through projectiles is huge on the gameplay. I didn't know this first few attempts. Also a jump-dash-melee is very useful against some flying enemies

If you’re really low on health, you can play it safe and take out enemies long range. If they get close, dash and slice!

Personally I beat the tutorial enemy (the one you're supposed to die to) first time and made it to the first boss before dying! I've decided I'll be using a headset for future runs!

Same here. Wait for a good roll and try not to die lol. I lucked out with a parasite which revived me upon death and bought a astronaut at a constructor. In the third phase he downed me twice had 2 chances thanks to this.. Went to the end of the 3rd biome but died by falling... This game is fucking hard...

keep some med packs and make sure you've got that astronaut doll that brings you back (probs the most important thing) . I found keeping your distance during the first 2 phases really helped. Fingers crossed you get it done soon man

I learned the trick was to literally beat as much as you can and run through both levels to max out the weapon stats to at least 12 or 13. I ended up picking up a level 14 rifle (not the hollow thing) and I wiped the floor with him. Also do what you can to save up a couple health packs and the astronaut just in case. If you go straight to him and skip a lot of enemies it's too hard with low level weapons.

You can't.. it auto saves and the start of each return.. but as you progress and learn more you will get Futher quicker...just be happy with the fact you will die and repeat but get better and Futher .. Think of it like a game version of the movie edge of tomorrow

It's rage quit material. I've been playing for 24hrs (with breaks) i know the first level inside and out yet can not defeat the boss.... Here's why... The score, the graphics, the darkness, the fast pace, the movement everything is awesome! But the "chance" way of being high enough level to face the boss is literally time killing. It's like playing the card game solitare. If the cards are shuffled exactly right, you get a "chance" at winning. That "chance" is only if you make EVERY single right movement and chest opening etc... Which is like a 1/20 for chests on top of your 1/???? Chance that the game was "stacked" in your favour in the first place

what helped me beat the 1st level and boss: - Clear the entire level except the boss, but dont open ANY chest, pick up NO resin, WARP back to your ship to heal (if there is no warp near your ship, you could restart the run immediately) - Try to keep adrenaline multiplier high (extra rewards), so play carefully, you can run in and out of rooms (unless they're locked down) to pick off enemies Now go back through the entire level: - with your HIGH (4+) weapon proficiency, open the chests (therefore getting HIGHER level weapons) - Save obols for astronaut figure, and maybe some health pack or other things that keep you alive (like the item that makes health upgrades only need 2 slots instead of 3, forgot what it's called) - Pick up all the resin, which now upgrades your health (yes it's a bit tedious, but so is dying a million times while ill-equipped NOTE: boss is skippable after you kill him once) Boss 1 tips: - keep moving (obviously) - His slash attack has a tell, wait for that to DASH and then jump the laser circle

If you have the shotgun or assault rifle it should be easy using the alternate firing mode is really good too once u get the Astronaut doll you have a revive so try not to waste since you only come back with half your health

No your just good lol. I cleared the first biome without getting killed but ended up dying on the second biome boss. After dying a few times now I can say that luck plays a big part. If you get poor rolled weapons and bad parasites u can be at a massive disadvantage
