Returnal PS5. Unlockables: How to Obtain the Dreadbound Weapon.

Love this game. I got it the beginning of Jan this year. Beat the game twice by early Feb. beat the dlc and platinumed Returnal by the end of Feb. Had a break from it and picked it back up around August/early September. After I got the last of the data cubes I was still compelled to play this game. Now I'm just playing to unlock all the artifacts, consumables and to level up all the weapon traits to 100% the entire databank matrix and 100% the research for all items and hostiles. Been playing a few hours every night since. So many games I still have unopened for my ps5 because the only game that really draws me back to using my ps5 is Returnal. It's funny how frightening and difficult the game is at the beginning. Even after platinum I still avoided fighting Ixion and Phrike for the longest time😂. Since you have to beat all bosses 10 times to 100% the research for each of them I had to face my demons and my deep fears. Now I dominate them with little effort. I practically one shotted Hyperion. I'm yet to post it on my channel. Killed him so quick he didn't have a phase 3😂 The longer you play, once you unlock the weapon traits biome 6 becomes a walk in the park. Biome 5 is still hit and miss because of the unpredictable nature of it. I've found it to be the most unforgiving of the 6 biomes. I always make sure to use the reconstructor as soon as I hit that biome. That biome loves to throw ice severed fighters at me so I usually have to wrap 3 of them at once often multiple times during that biome. Sometimes I just skip clearing biome 5 and go onto biome 6 if I don't clear it without using the reconstructor.

Yes biome 6 is hit and miss for me too. but since I unlocked everything I just play the tower for high score. sorry i didnt see this comment it was in the havent responded section.

The Dread Bound will spawn as long as you keep leveling up your Prociency Gain and once you reach a certain level it spawns in every Biome ...LOL This is definitely a 1st time ever hearing something like that & I have been playing Returnal since the game launched on APR 30th 2021

It's not spaming there. The little platform is there but i find only profiency items. What i do wrong?

you talking about where the dreadbound is? ifs its not there you mite already have it unlock. look at your weapon log and see if you been using it if you have been using it it would have some stats on it .

good shit, i tried once today room solo, I died at the last phase of enemies, but I didnt know it was in there, I wanna to fk around and find out if anything was good, but i choke, shit is hard sometimes

@DaSkarekrow yeah once you fully upgrade your character you will be stronger to fight better in the towel. Anything less won't work. It's brutal bro.

Ok press your touch pad button, and press R1 until you get to databank. Go down to Equipment. Move right and go all the way down to dreadbound weapon. If you have progression on it then you have it unlocked already. If not all I can do is add you on psn we go co-op and I get it and drop it for you. Sounds good?

@@Stall2213 ok I did that there is a missing weapon number 9 between the E Driver and Hollowseeker. I made a save before going into the Optional room and did the 3 waves of enemies 5 times in a row and all that spawns is a Atropian Key. It would be really nice of you to do that for me my Nick is converge26

@Chappie it is, once you get use to it it's amazingly good. The traits you want is expanding shards 3 ,explosive shards 3 and staggering shards 3. Hands down the best to have.
